A Week of City Celebration

You and your children have no excuses this week: no less than 4 local cities are holding their city celebrations this week.  So, no matter what county you live in there is going to be something to do.

Midvale Harvest Days: August 6-11.  Check out the Art Show Wednesday night, stop by the Safety Fair on Thursday and you must come see the car show Friday night, followed by a movie in the park, an apropro showing of Cars.  And of course the Parade Saturday morning, a full day of fun at the park and fantastic fireworks Saturday night.

Salem Days: August 3-11. Can't miss the Salem Days Children's Parade.  Not to mention the Family Fireside, Family movie in the park or the fireworks.  There is an entire list of activities on the Salem Days website.

Lindon City Days: August 4-11. If you have any Boy Scouts, young or old!, stop by the Pinewood Derby today or tomorrow Huck Finn Days at Creekside Park.  And of course, the Grand Parade, the Lindon days fair and fireworks on Saturday.

Alpine City Days: August 4-11.  If you have small children, they will love the Evening of Storytelling tonight at the Gazebo with Marvin Payne.  They will also be thrilled by the Children's Pet Show and Parade on Wednesday. Hit the Family Picnic Friday night. Bring your own dinner and dessert will be provided.  And on Saturday morning, get up early for the flag ceremony, stick around for the parade and then check out the Classic Car Show.
