Pioneer Festival, Cache County

It's a little ways north, but if you've got time head up to Wellsville for the Pioneer Festival at The American West Heritage Center.  You will get the chance to step back in time right into a a Shoshone encampment, a mountain man/fur trader camp, pioneer family settlement, and a 1917 farm. If you have ever wanted to milk cows, learn woodcarving, and learn the way of the mountain man you must go.  This is a great chance to give your kids an even greater appreciation of the history of their home.

Wellsville is about 90 minutes north of Salt Lake, only a few minutes from Logan, so it's a bit of a trip, but if you love the Old West, you might just want to take the jaunt.
