Days of '47 Family Fun Day

utah state fairpark

Want to win Best mom in the world award?  Just take your kids to the Days of 47 Family Fun Day at the Utah State Fair Park.  From 10:00 to 5:00 on Saturday, July 7, head downtown to learn more about Utah's heritage and maybe even create a family tradition.

While you are there you can wander through the Art Garden, watch a magic show, play carnival games, watch pioneer demonstrations, and even get a sneak peek of The Days of '47 Rodeo.  You can meet some of the rodeo staff and even some of the animals.  While you're there, you might as well learn how to rope a cow!

There will be plenty of food vendors throughout the park, but you might just want to bring your lunch with you and settle down for a picnic.

  1. So glad you posted this! We are headed up to Salt Lake for the Farmer's Market and I wanted to do something else up there, too, since we are making the drive from Salt Lake County. We'll have to check it out!
